We have never lost a LSU HC to Bama so why would we need that clause?

To be fair,
in 2005 and 2006 Miles led the team to (2005) 11-2 record and final #5 ranking, whilst also destroying Miami in a bowl game and (2006) another 11-2 record and final #3 ranking with a dismantling of media darlings Notre Dame and Brady Quinn in the Sugar Bowl
Hindsight is obviously 20/20, but nobody could have known that Saban would create the dynasty he did at Alabama in the next 15 years.
That said... I remember hoping that we would take Saban back too.
