Jimbo was the answer in 05 after Saban.. should have skipped the Miles era and see if Jimbo could have held on, would have been cheap and could have moved on easily if need be.. but Mike Archer killed that idea

Ask FSU fans how that worked out.

FSU is actually an easy place to coach, weak conference, good name, and fertile Florida recruits. Clemson has become a thing because of Fisher.

The buyout is only if he's fired. He will get that money if he stays at A&M through his contract. The only way he'd leave would be to get more money and/or a better situation. I like Jimbo, but LSU can find other competent coaches that don't require a contract with a clause for a buyout of ...

Have they had a single winning season outside of Bowden and Fisher?

He turned it down before, what makes you think he wants it now....

I’m not big on Jimbo, he’s not in my top 3 for potential hires. BUT, he is an experienced play caller, which in my opinion is an important factor in this hire. I hope we shoot for the moon with Lincoln Riley. Jimbo would do a fine job with all the talent we have on offense.

Scott Woodward. I think Woodward also envisioned hiring Jimbo at LSU. I think Jimbo is higher up the list than people think, just a gut feeling.

Why would we want him, He is a good coach bot a great coach. He got lightening in a bottle with Winston. He isnt exactly setting the world on fire at A&M.

There is nothing great about TAM's offense bro, its actually really bad. They did pull last week out, that will save Fisher from the fans until Auburn.

You’re right. But they don’t have anywhere near the talent we do at skill positions IMO

He doesn't have a buyout if he goes to another school. The buyout is only if he's fired.

Waiver his buy out?

Did you get a waiver from having to attend elementary school?

He has the highest buyout in the country by a large margin

Fisher, 56, is making $7.5 million this year and would be owed about $95.6 million if he is fired without cause on Dec. 1. Prior to the extension, he would've been due $45.6 million.

The bold is the important part. If he leaves for another school there is no buyout.

Shows you how ridiculous it is to base ANY coaching decision off of a record in 2020.
