He's been coaching over 20 years, is this year being far too heavily weighed with respect to his entire career?


Had anyone even heard of Matt Canada before this season?

Yes. He was in the running for Tennessee OC job in January 2015. He was in demand after he was fired from NC State.

Was he good at State? Meh. Did he have ANY talent at State besides Brisset? NO No no. He gets the most out of his talent, and that should count for something.

Yes. Pretty good. Sometimes average. One year of very good.

Not sure he's the best or great. It's a better hire than Kiffin, but it certainly throws some doubt on the binder.
