I remember saying I wanted it to happen, and that I thought it'd happen. I never said it was going to happen for sure, unless I was just trolling or messing with someone.
The private Auburn plane was traveling back and forth to Tallahassee like it was going out of style. Every insider, aside from PM, was raving about how the talks were heating up more and more every week. @AUSportsTalk, who I quoted many times, said we were close to a deal with Stoops. He's got pretty solid sources within the Auburn program.
It is what it is, oh well. It's not the end of the world. We'll find some else. And whoever it may end up being, they'll be better than Ted Roof was for sure.
BTW, I don't act like I have "inside sources". Everything I relay to the SECr or Recruiting Board is straight from the mouth of PM, JH, JL, or an insider from ITAT.

Problem with Jeff Lee is a few tgings.
1) he only has sources at AU, so he didnt know the fsu side of it
2) he just pushes info he's feed without questioning why
3) he lost a lit of favor with some on that staff when he went with the calloway stuff earlier this year. REALLY pissed some off. Everyone has dirt in recruiting.

He actually did post a lot of info coming from FSU's side... Sometimes they felt as if Stoops was gone, and other times they thought he would stay. Stoops played both staffs perfectly.

Umm yeah you do act as if you're some sort of insider "JLjr" and you always post opinion as fact and attack those who question. Basically you take what others say and act like you're a know it all and those sources are the biggest group of Au sheep that could be assembled.
