Woody is responsible for Jimbo at TAMU, how does that decision look now?

About as good as MSU Tucker deal…
I get signing Jimbo but no buyout is what gets me.
This search could be on track but the optics are bad and that is on Woody.

I’ve been saying this since the day they hired Jimbo. I’m so glad they did it and gave him so much money they couldn’t walk away.

To be fair, Jimbo is a great fit there.

Woody is know for getting the big hire. They way you do that is to give them the best deal. It’s great that you get the hire but you give up a lot to get him. That’s the downside. Is it worth it? Depends on who you ask.

And he was responsible for Sark at Washington who was a failure. Petersen was his best hire.

He also extended O when there was absolutely no reason to. I don’t think he’s a very good coach hiring AD. He’s good at bringing in the money, but that jimbo deal is bad.
