How many LSU fans would trade season records with A&M’s 8-4 with a win over Alabama this year with what we have?
I don’t want Jimbo, but I’d take his results this year over ours.
I don’t know who Scott is, but he was hired for these type decisions & I’m not going to second guess him before he’s even had a chance to do his thing.

Woodward overpaid, but anyone who thinks their program isn’t in significantly better shape overall today from where Sumlin had them and was about to take them is crazy. That first contract doesn’t look so bad in the current market.
It’s the unnecessary extension and buyout to fire that Jimbo just got that is impossible to justify, but that wasn’t Woodward.

Scotty got outplayed by the Cowboys. Overheard from the suite nearby last night that Riley leveraged LSU to get an agreement in principle with Dallas that will soon make him the highest-paid coach in the league.
Riley gets to coach OU through the bowl game and wait for Dallas to can McCarthy at the end of the season.
Scotty is angry but nevertheless, he persisted. Been working the phones all night. Friend of a friend took this photo from 4am.
Had a bigtime fish on the other end of the line. Former OU head coach. Even better, a former Dallas head coach (XFL). You guess it, Bob Stoops is coming and he's bringing his brother to run the defense (Mike, not Mark). I trust my sauces.

Sumlin and Jimbo have the exact same record through the same time at Aggy. The first contract and buyout was atrocious before the extension too.
Lol you Woodward fanboys are something else.
