I personally believe the influence by ESPN has ended his career. He has the ability to coach and probably still has the desire. He would do fairly well at most programs but I believe ESPN and TT has put teams in a position of "Can't take him".

Thoughts?

Winning is the cure for all evil. If any program thinks Mike Leach can make them win, Mike Leach will coach again.

After he sticks it to Tech, he will.

The funniest part about this is that Mike Leach has more credibility than the entire ESPN company.

No argument. However, if a team were to select him as HC, ESPN would criticize that school for the selection and would be sure to show all highlights possible of that school losing, along with saying said school was over-rated each time they would win.

Which is exactly why if I want sports news and I'm not by a computer, I go to Fox Sports, SI.com (although their writers either 1. don't know shite about sports or 2. write about irrelevant shite), CBS Sports, Yahoo, etc. before I ever go to ESPN.

I have a CBS sports mobile on my phone and I like it better than the ESPN mobile.

I say no. Suing your AD is one of the few unpardonable sins in college sports. Ask Nolan Richardson.

If Mike Price can frick a stripper and get another job, if George O'Leary can lie on his resume and get another job, if Larry Eustachy can get drunk and mess around with co-ed's and get another job, then Mike Leach can put a kid in a closet and get another job.

I think he will join a team as an OC, then after a while move to HC. I think winning will cure all the bad press, especially after he wins his lawsuit against TT. I would love to see him go to the pac ten.

this. i believe the battle will be bloody. leach is a lawyer. i believe he will leave espn alone, but will probably present their one-sided reporting in his case against tech. to me, usf would be a great place for him.

Leach will coach again, book it.

I kind of like a coach that's tough on mouthy slackers. . .

It seems as if more people are starting to see the one sided slant of ESPN's coverage of this story. The Alamo Bowl telecast was very telling.

And James is throwing out the idea that he wants to run for the US senate seat possible vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchison. he can't be serious. The Tech alums will almost defeat him alone.

When the lawsuit is over, Leach will get another job -- most likely Mountain West, WAC or a brave school that needs some drama -- like Syracuse or Arizona State to get it's program back. He sure can move the football and some programs will want this.
