People think being special teams coordinator is the 3rd best assistant coach job on staff, like any offensive and defensive coordinator can be a ST coordinator if they can’t get the gig they want.
Not how it works. He’d be a DBs or LBs coach or analyst before he’d be a ST coordinator anywhere.
Either way, he’s one of the top defensive coordinators in the country, he’ll be a defensive coordinator on a title contender or mid major HC. He can be a non coordinator in the NFL if he wants to go that route
