Willie Fritz, how soon does he bolt?

It’s been reported by several Tulane sources that he’s pissed off with the administration after they put the kibosh on the Jett Duffey transfer. He’s likely looking to get out ASAP and it may not necessarily be to a P5. Where are some possible landing spots for Fritz and where should Tulane look for a replacement?

I don’t blame him either. Tulane actually has a good thing going and... like clockwork, here comes the elitist SJW dicks in Gibson Hall to tear it down. This is why we’ll never be consistently good in any major sport

If he goes make Hall the hc. Good track record as a hc and is being sought after at larger schools for oc positions.

He was before the admin shite on him. My Tulane guy was saying they were working on a deal that would basically ensure Fritz would retire Uptown. I agree with you, if the university drives him away I will lose my mind.

Whatever happened to the dumbass AD that wouldn’t promote Rich Rod to HC bc she didn’t want to be told what to do? Tulane still can’t get out of its own way. Fritz won’t be there long and Tulane will be back to fighting to not have winless seasons.

Sandy Barbour? She works in the Penn State athletics department now, before that she was the AD at Cal and running them into the ground

That’s actually incorrect, Sandy wanted to hire Rich Rod. Scott Cowen the new President at that time was convinced to hire Chris Scelfo the night before they announced Rich Rod and pulled the rug out from everyone.

Hired Selfo over Rich Rod, then at Cal fires Tedford, who they still owed $7MM, to hire Sonny Dykes (fired the year after Barbour left)

Pretty telling that Duffey ended up at Central Michigan, sounds like he has a lot of baggage. Hope Fritz sticks it out, Tulane being good is fun and big for the AAC. Would he leave for a job like Tulsa?

This is true. Cowen had her take the blame then helped her find a new job. That dude (along with others) tried to kill football.
