Lainie's instagram was kind of entertaining before she quit TV to become a teacher.

Apparently his family lives in Houston now and really wants the job there because of that

And no state income tax.

And tax money actually mostly goes to productive endeavors.

And wealthier donors like Tillman Fertitta.

That’s crazy I can’t imagine the things those loaded Tulane alum do for a coach having them nationally relevant in the 21st century. He must be a god to a lot of rich snobs.

Here's Football Scoop's assessment of the UH candidates. Tulane is mentioned because of Blake Baker. Fritz's name is nowhere on this list.

Tulane finally gets a head coach that developed a team with some national respect and once again, they are going to let him walk away?

They’re not going to just let him but they can’t stop him…

It’s not a middle finger. Players and coaches always try to get their people hired so they can run over them. It’s up to the powers that be to make the right hire regardless of what they want.

In normal circumstances, I agree. But when a HC just gave you the first back to back 10 wins seasons since WWII (maybe even before that honestly). You give the guy whatever he wants to make sure he sticks around.

He was added after I posted, along with Kingsbury and Mullen.

I would agree with this if hiring Kortne Gosha would have guaranteed that Fritz sticks around.

If Fritz hand picks the AD then dips, you’re left with someone you really didn’t want to lead the search to replace the best coach in school history. That’s the other side of this coin

I doubt we will ever hear about her and a student.

Unfortunately.
