Let's see, he is the first coach to win a playoff game there in about 500 years.

So I'll say yes.

Unless they can get a big name, Cowher, Dungy etc. Then I don't see it happening, but we will see

I think he should but you never know with Jerry Jones. His ego is large enough to make stupid Football Decisions.

i don't see why not. it's either keep him and the Cowboys continue to be coached by the assistants, or get rid of him and the Cowboys continue to be coached by the assistants. there hasn't been real leadership in Dallas for a long time. it's their primary problem.

The owner is the primary problem

I doubt Miles would be in the conversation but I could see rumors starting.

NOBODY in College or Pro is coming after Miles - NOBODY.
Skip was the only person foolish enough to get us into that situation.
BTW, Saban laid out the warning. He is just in Yr 3 with another BCSNC and just getting started at AL. Will be in Top 3, if not top, again this year in recruiting and going into Yr 4 as preseason #1 with a 24 game regular season win streak.

2 reasons:

1) He has a megabuyout that most places can't afford to help pay + pay the salary he would ocmmand.
2) There's very few jobs Miles would even be interested in taking if they came calling (I think Michigan is the only college one).

You're stupid if you think Miles is SO bad as a coach that NO ONE would want to hire him.

The problem with this statement is that Saban's suggested sucessor was a complete no-go. Nutt would not have survived here for long. Just look at what Petrino has been able to do recruiting wise at Arkansas since he left. Look at what O did at Ole Miss before he got there. If Ole Miss fans were a little disappointed this year, just wait. The cupboard is already getting bare over in Oxford.

Of course, there is always the possibility that is exactly what Saban had in mind. That way, if Miami was not a sucess, he could just step right back in.

Wrong. He has ~$1.2M buyout if he goes to Michigan. That is it.

Because LSU fricked themselves with how the contract was structured.

NO ONE except a small time school would want Miles.

$500K is a mega buyout?

It's time for Jerry Jones to bring Les home.
