I seriously doubt UT gets him and I won't have a meltdown if we don't. I'll have a meltdown only if he goes to arky.

I don't think he is that special.

He is a good coach, but not a great coach.

I've just been enjoying all the Gruden talk. Its pretty entertaining and since we suck at football this year... its the most entertainment we've had.

no. I think less than 10% chance he coaches at college/UT. he'll probably return to the NFL.

I don't believe all these Gruden to UT or Arky rumors. I'll believe it when I see the press conference.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - An offer has reportedly been made for a new head coach at the University of Arkansas.
Jim Harris, THV 11's affiliate sports reporter, says the university has offered Jon Gruden the head coach position for the Razorbacks football team.
Gruden is currently with ESPN and serves as an analyst for Monday Night Football.
Harris doesn't expect Gruden to take the offer, putting the odds at "one in 10 or even one in 20." He said Gruden may have shown a slight bit of interest and that "Arkansas is swinging for the fences and making an offer."

I'd say one in a million for Arky

Already signed? For both teams? I think he's that good.

I know Gruden would be the "wow" hire for any college team but I'm not sure his coaching could translate to the college level with the limited amount of practice time. My first choice would be Gundy but after that I really don’t have a favorite because I think several coaches could be successful.

James Franklin is getting some play lately and I think he would be an excellent hire. Hell, he had the great Petrino and the Hogs on the ropes last year with much less talent and had it not been for and some lucky breaks, Vandy would have beaten the Hogs last year.

Yup. But I'm still holding out hope for it to actually happen.

I knew that because we talked about Heritage and the Mounties once.

I can't wait to see Mike Irwin blast the UA again because they picked someone he doesn't approve of and didn't get leaked info.

maybe just UT fans but I think everyone else assumes he'll go back to the NFL or stay at his current gig on MNF. I personally think he will be coaching the eagles or chargers next year.
