What about muschamp, he runs the same defense as Dave Arandas that when they switched to 3-4 scheme and they were awesome in the last four games allowing only 18 points a game. Lowest all year and will muschamp is aggressive and no remourse

I'll tell you what, an SEC retread coach that I would have loved is Derek Mason. Not that Daronte Jones was all that bad this year, actually he was quite effective late in the year, but I liked what I saw from Auburn's defense this year.

That's because he switched to Dave Arandas defensive scheme right before Alabama game because they switched to that defense because the defensive players wanted and knew Arandas defensive scheme so they switched to his scheme and they gelled in his scheme

I want a DC with SEC ties and experience.
He's ultimately Pelini 2.0 when it comes to yelling though

People won't like the muschamp idea but i actually don't think it's all that crazy. He's a great recruiter and has never failed in a role as a DC. His failures have been as a HC.
Now, it's been awhile since we've seen him as a DC of course, so it would obviously be a risk. But I don't think it's the worst idea ever.

My son and I had our fingers crossed for that. But, alas, no. Not that Jones has been horrible, just that Mason is one of the best, IMO.
