Even your AD said OM has budget issues.

Yet, OM was able to fund $17 million in buyouts without blinking an eye. Someone has ponied up.

Well, this just hurts your other arguments.

Money is an issue for Ole Miss, and Ole Miss is no where near Arkansas' neighborhood $$

Is Archie involves? Cooper? I could see them wanting to get their guy in place there so they can have someone to hand his grandson off to.

Arch Manning will for sure be an early enrollee somewhere.

You are correct. Arkansas has WalMart and Jerry Jones. Ole Miss has support from FedEx though, so we can raise money quickly when we have to. Someone really ponied up to secure that buyout and for Carter to do his dick swinging during the press conference basically saying that money is not an issue with the new coach. Is he gambling? Probably so, but I think this is what Ole Miss needs to do to make us fans fell like they are finally serious.

Thank goodness Bjork is GONE!

I don't think there are enough $10/hr package handlers working at Fed Ex to cover what your going to have to cover.

(I do miss him sometimes, though)

Ole Miss is the leader, imho, because of the fact that Arkansas just fired a guy after only 2 years. That's going to bite them, either by losing their top targets or by being forced to pay way too much for the next guy

Who wasn’t hired by the current AD staff and was justifiably fired.

It's not that Arkansas fired Morris after only two years, it is the state of their roster that is making this coaching search so challenging for them. They absolutely made the right move to fire Morris. Any school would have done that. They need a program builder coach, like Bill Clark.

You don't have to convince us. We all saw. But surely you know that coaching candidates are going to bring that up as a red flag

Not this year because Ole Miss is at Arkansas. Look towards 2021.
