Sorry I must've made up the part where he blamed the last play, or lack there of, on his QB and some other people...

I also remember Miles taking blame personally. He might be stupid or out of his element, but to act like he's a shitty person based on one tenuous example is pretty silly.

Besides, you're a 'Bama fan. Who gives a flying frick what you think?

I know one thing either Our qb's are too dumb to manage the game and read defences or they arent being coached right and I say its the coaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AGREE! U would think that they would at least work on the little things like snapping the ball before the play clock expires! Or getting out of the "tackle box" and throwing the ball away instead of taking a 9 or 10 yard sack from the shotgun! Drives me nuts!

You know Les was thinking "Oh no the sh$t is going to be thick this week" as he ran on the field after snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Probably, Miles doesn't seem to mind throwing other people under the bus to try and deflect some criticism.

you people are frickin pathetic. this time last year you were bitching he would never fire his friends. now if he does what you wanted him to do before, hes a POS for that too.

i get the frustration. i feel it too, but im not gonna act like Miles is some scumbag. hes done a lot for LSU, and nothing to deserve this kind of venom. if he were to leave today, we'd be in excellent shape and a dream job for any coach.

we need a new OC, hopefully the guy from houston, and we sure as hell need a new OL coach. we get that and were still set for a title run next year.

What about Stanford's OC? They pound the ball and then throw when they have to. Of course that is against weak arse Pac 10 D's so maybe not. Just a thought.

Crowton's play calling is insane. 1) Fails to pursue what works..2) Doesn't get JJ out of the pocket on roll-outs to a) use his running skills and b) avoid sacks with JJ's poor pocket "sense", 3) Has little sense of what to do on 2nd down long or short, 4) Using RS on only runs and 5)never, never ,ever using the FB in his schemes, 6) Delay of game penalties or wasting time outs, 7) Failing to pound the ball out of the I inside the 10 yd line 8) never using two RB's on either side of the QB in the shotgun, 9) Never going for the homerun on first down. Need more ???

I don't know, but I tend to think that there's over a 50% chance that this will happen.

When has Miles ever publicly criticized a player or asst. coach?

He already has. From an article in tigerdroppings regarding the calls after they were in FG range:

quote:

Miles said he suggested running the ball to Crowton but said Crowton had a “good thought.”

It seems to me that Crowton was in charge.

True, but the poster I originally responded to made it sound like this was a staple for Miles to do.

Someone has to lose their job and Miles isn't going to. I wish both were gone. So yes he will be fired.

If he is allowed to coach at LSU in 2010, he will most certainly be fired.

2010 will be such a failure for him, that he will also never be hired.

If he still wants a future in coaching he should get out now.

It would be though, if it weren't sad.

Will the "Will Crowton be fired threads" surpass the "Lee vs Jefferson" threads?
