Who would pay him more than LSU to be OC? I don't think anymore HC jobs will become available.

He wouldn't make $1.5 mil anywhere else. At least not year one. Overall, his offense was just mediocre last year.

His opportunity to get a head coaching job has all but evaporated and he will not get close to what LSU is paying him to a coordinator elsewhere. Just don't see it happening.

He would not have to take a pay cut, because anything that he makes less than his current salary LSU would have to make up the difference to him

Why would anyone want Canada gone? He doesn’t have his pieces that he wants yet. I say 2 more years will make a huge difference.
