Still a couple of SEC schools that haven't cycled through him yet.
Auburn?
Florida?
Bama shadow staff?

He’s coaching high school ball for fun now. His coaching career is over other than that

Next step is middle school. He’s consistently worked his way down over the last several years.

So glad that fricker left LSU when he did. Wasn't happy about it at the time but worked out well.

Chavis should get a few looks from the Peoria pop Warner 10u league.
That is, if Vic Chungus turns them down first.

After that his last step has to Auburn......

Chavis gets too much hate. His '11 D was the perfect modern D for all the crazy offenses of today.
He also tried to adapt by putting lots of speed on the field.
Just giving credit where it's due.

I agree. He won a lot of games for such inept Miles' offensive teams. He could still field a tough defense at LSU today.

Hes no Pelini. Name any other DC that could hold Bama to 6 pts. Great LB coach as well.

2009-2012 his defense held the program together. after that it's all downhill.

Absolutely stole money from Arkansas in 2018 and 2019.

We led the SEC in D in 2014.
I don't get the Welter before Beckwith. Nobody does. But when you take a step back you realize Chavis was a good DC.
And much with what I've read of Freeman, Chavis actually did try some different things.

That fat mustachioed frick can sit on it sideways and spin. After the way he left, and the way Tiger teams dragged their balls all over his face afterwards, I can't think of any scenario where he sets foot on LSU's campus again.
