No doubt. It is pathetic honestly.

But lets not pretend If Kiffin leaves, you guys will continue on the path of filling Vaught Hemingway on the reg. The Ole Miss job is not that attractive actually. Lane Kiffin coaching at Ole Miss is such a perfect fit for both parties, it makes it what it is.

The only reason I can come up with to not throw a shite ton of money at Kiffin is that, no matter where he goes, he will not be as good of a fit as he currently at Ole Miss. Obviously that could change and he could go to LSU or Florida or Auburn and win big, but I feel his peak comfort level is Oxford. The dude looks like he has been there since elementary school.

Because if Les Miles and Ed Orgeron could win National Championships at LSU, so could he.

Because the LSU program has proven it can win national championships. It has done so under 4 head coaches. Ole Miss has never sniffed a national title and likely never will.

Kiffen will walk out his front door and bump into several 5 stars on his way to the mailbox in BR.

You could also take the current LSU players in the NFL and make a playoff team.

At Ole Miss, not so much.

Recruiting!!!! Louisiana is way more fertile of a recruiting ground than Mississippi!

That’s such an antiquated way of looking at recruiting. Recruiting has changed.

I like Lane. He’s witty, wildly entertaining and his team is usually fun to watch, but he’s not a top tier football coach.
He gets bored by plays that work, he’s easily frustrated, and when drives stall he gets stubborn and takes risks with bad odds.
The Ole Miss/WSU game this year had all of this.
Lane is a perfect fit for Ole Miss.

They are national contenders with significantly less talent than LSU. What would Kiffin do with LSUs talent?

He believes he can win it all there

This will ultimately be one of the most important factors in his decision process.

Deep down, does he believe he can win a championship at Ole Miss?
