It's not even a lateral move, it's a downwards descension of a move. He must be getting a helluva pay raise to make that transition, as better facilities are the only thing Arky has over Wisky. Can anyone make sense over this? Maybe he was just looking for a challenge

What was he getting at Wisconsin? Couldn't they match 600k per year?

You really think this? The Badgers have been on a roll as of late, but overall I think Arky has the better program historically. And I got no dog in this hunt.

Better facilities, conference, and better pay I would assume why he took the job. Also recruiting for players to come play in SEC might be easier than convincing them to come play in the Big Ten.

I also suspect that he probably wants to escape the shadow of Alvarez as Alvarez is the AD at Wisconsin and probably on some level still meddles in the football program more than he should.

Schlabach just said Wisconsin is reluctant to pay assistants. I guess Bielema got tired of losing assistants.

he had a much better shot against Ohio State than he does against LSU, Bama, & TAMU in the west. Plus Georgia, Florida, USCe in the east. This is one of those instances where being in tSEC is not an advantage.

He was tired of recruiting there. "Come to Wisconsin and freeze your nuts off".

RIP arky postseason dreams....

BB will try to run BIG10 type football. LSU Nand BAMA have the people and schemes installed. It will take a while for Arky to catch up.

A&M will be OK aslong as JFF isthere.

Arky = 4th in west for the next few years (maybe 5th or 6th, depending on Miss teams).

The only factual thing in this statement is that Arkansas is indeed a job.
