Dabo would leave Clemson for Bama because that is his home. He is a Bama guy. There is a reason his agent doesn't throw his name name out there for open spots.
And I know, I know, no one would want Dabo. Why would someone want a guy that turned a historically overrated program into a top 10 football team?

How did that work out for him? He will end up getting fired from Arkansas while Wisconsin is in the top 10.

Yea, and why do all of these 5* QBs commit to these top teams. It's like, you're probably not even going to start right away and you might not ever play because they have other good players. They should just go to a shitty school so they have an easier path to become the starter.

We are talking about taking a lateral move in coaching. Last time I checked, these qbs transfer out from bad programs to the sec to start.

well he can't coach forever. If we are being honest with ourselves, LSU is looking for a coach that will have LSU competing for national championships consistently after Saban is gone. In the meantime, Saban is going to win the west more often than not and everyone else is playing for second.

No, it's not. They have lots of recruiting competition, and theyre cheap when it comes to facilities and assistants.

When you combine the resources available at LSU, the money and the egos of successful coaches, LSU has more appeal than most schools as a place where you can compete at the highest level.

The top 2-3 schools in each power 5 conference would be.
ACC - FSU, Clemson, Louisville
BIG12 - Texas, Oklahoma
BIG10 - Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin
PAC12 - USC, Oregon, Stanford
All these schools would match an LSU offer, and you can argue the path to the playoff in these leagues are easier.

Sure, and only one of the coaches at those schools is even being considered, and that coach has ties to Baton Rouge.
