Why was Canada fired from NC State?

I'm not trying to be negative. I'm really excited and happy about the hire. My question was more trying to understand why you'd fire the guy who hung up 70 pts in the big 10 championship and has continuously improved your offense. It makes no sense to me why you'd fire that guy. Everything I've seen has shown me that everywhere he goes, the offenses improve, yet he gets fired for reasons that don't involve covering up sexual assault or drinking during practice

Unlike Cam who sucked and got fired. Canada didn't suck when he got fired, went to another mediocre school and took it's offense out of the toilet...polished it up and made it pretty darn good in just one off season.

Debbie Yow, the AD at NCSU, needed to appease some of the powers that be. She told Doeren to fire Canada to achieve that goal. They had some slip ups and Jacobey Brissett had plateaued a bit but they had some serious injuries to their best RB's. Canada was on VACATION when he got the call. As a friend of mine said who worked at NCSU, "he won't stay fired long". Sure enough, Pitt came calling.

Long time lurker, but I usually just dont give a shite about the crybabies in TD freaking about every detail of Les Mile's life and the meaning of every little gesture he made. this is pretty benign. I think we made the right hire regardless of the shite show before it. We end up with two great coordinators and a HC that is energetic and a good motivator. I can live with that.

Lets go down the list of reasons he wasn't fired:
1) He didn't cover up rape.
2) He didn't drink himself into a stupor
3) He didn't frick everyones wife while being a little shite.
4) He didn't get exposed as having no idea as to what he was doing without Chip Kelly around.

Valid reasons to make the hire. He's got the potential to do the things we need. If he busts, then we just get someone else and life and LSU goes on.

Hannity pretty much summed it up yesterday, when Canada has not had full control, he no likey and he leaves. Happened with Fat Bert at UW, happened with at NCSU. He wants full control and the minute somebody starts trying to take it from him he says frick you and leaves or is let go.
About always trying to find a new job, it is pretty well known he is using LSU to get a HC position. That is his goal. Don't know how long he will be here, but when he leaves it will be for a HC postion and he will be pursuing those opportunites.
