It isn't your money, who cares? They should get the absolute best coach they can, regardless of the cash

Lol at you thinking we can get LK for $6M a year. Not a chance in hell.

Well, Lane Kiffin wants the LSU job so bad that Woodward could probably get him for $3 million dollars a year if he wanted. Now of course, Ole Miss will bump up his compensation and Woodward may have to pay a little more than $6 million dollars a year, but nonetheless, Lane Kiffin will go with LSU long before he remains at Ole Miss, and furthermore, even though he would be compensated far less than either Jimbo Fisher or Lincoln Riley, he is by far the best and most qualified coach to become the next head football coach of LSU.

See, the working out part comes after the paying them part.

Is Lane begging for the job or something?

Not my circus, not my clowns, and definitely not my money.

That said, don't underestimate the premium LSU will pay to any candidate after firing the past 2 coaches, both of whom won Natties here. If we bring in a current top-shelf Div. 1 coach, they will demand a contract that pays them serious coin before they even take the field as an insurance policy that they will be compensated when/if they are fired after going 9-3 in consecutive seasons.

NOT saying that the 2 prior guys should have been retained--just observing that a 10-2 record just about anywhere else will get the coach a raise. Here, it will get the HC seat warm.

No chance in hell he leaves OM for less than $8-9M per season. Zero. That's not what agents get paid to do. They know LSU is spending big time and Kiffin is set to make $5.5M next season. He's getting a pay raise regardless. When is the last time a coach took less money to change schools in the SEC? Your opening sentence is so ridiculous it's hard to take the rest of it seriously.

You need to seek psychiatric treatment for your fanatical obsession with Lane Kiffin.

I guess that’s my point, if you’ve had guys going 9–3 in their divisions now and they continue that trend, it’s a fireable offense here it seems. It doesn’t seem crazy to me to offer something under 10 mil. No need to get crazy with the 12 mil.

If you go to the games.especially if you are a season ticket holder...you damned well are paying for somebody and it ain't Scott Woodward.

Just because I'm not incredibly dumb doesn't mean I'm nearly as severely mentally deficient as you.

Well again, Lane wants the LSU job so bad that he would take it for 3 million a year if Scott wanted to take advantage of him.

Nonetheless, of course, he will receive a nice bump in compensation from Ole Miss. After all, he morphed Ole Miss from a train wreck when he got there into a contender in less that two years. So whatever that amounts to, then Woodward would have to beat it, but nonetheless, he would come to LSU for far less than Jimbo Fisher or Lincoln Riley and on top of it, he is a better coach that either of them.

I'll give you an answer after you describe to me in detail why you believe Jimbo Fisher with his lame arse very antiquated and mediocre offense is a better hire relative to Lane Kiffin and is worth the more than 12 million dollars a year it would cost LSU to bring him to Baton Rouge.

The object of your gay crush, Jimbo Fisher, will never be the head coach at LSU because Scott Woodward isn't severely mentally handicapped enough to pay someone with that piss poor of an offense to become the next head coach at LSU. Not when Scott Woodward can get Lane Kiffin, who is an astronomically far better offensive coach than Jimbo Fisher and who is also more than proven in the SEC, for half the money it would take to bring the object of your gay crush to Baton Rouge.

I mean, what has Lane Kiffin done that is so awful that it disqualifies him from being the next head coach of LSU? Has he raped someone, slit someone's throat, robbed a bank, got caught running a pyramid scheme? What did Lane Kiffin do that disqualifies him from being the next head football coach of LSU?

Nothing, not a damn thing. As Lane Kiffin is your next LSU head coach folks. It's a no brainer. Stop speculating. It's all over but the crying.

I'm not reading any of that dude, touch some grass, let the sun shine upon your face, frolic through a dense meadow, release yourself, free the chains that bind you, open your eyes, taste the salt water, release that which binds you
