why not get a young guy who may stay around for a while so we dont have to keep having the same discussion every 3 years?

WTF are you smoking?? He's a cheerleader not a coach! He was NOT DC when he was at LSU...Saban was! Muschamp only had the title.

aside from the blowout at UGA, Auburn never gave up more than 30. Held FLA to 17, ARK to 9, OLE Miss to 3, and Bama to 10. Can D line U say that? Can we say Auburn has talent of Highsmith, Steltz, Beckwith, Jones, or Jackson backing up D line U? Say what you want, Muschamp is Legit DC. HC, not sold, but I'd pay him to DC like he was HC!

When Bowden retires, Richt goes to FSU, Muschamp to UGA

You do realize that Richt is a Miami grad, right? He didn't go there last year when they called. Georgia is a much better job than FSU and Miami.

Exactly....

Richt isn't going anywhere... for a long, long time.

This is some of the worst reasoning around.

Will Muschamp not = Mike Archer

I realize the circumstances are similar, but you can't compare to wholly different people in this way. Some guys are good HCs and some are not.

With Muschamp, no one can know until they give him a shot.

I think Muschamp will make a fine head coach, but I don't know if we should go that direction this time around.

Yeah I go back and forth.

Parts of me say if we don't take him now we won't have a chance because he'll get picked up at some point.

Other parts say, it may not be worth that risk...

Who cares if he's a cheer leader, if he becomes head coach i don't think lsu will be 1st in penalties anymore. He might be a cheerleader but that's better than miles staring off into space during the game
