Tell someone to go to Baton Rouge… if you haven’t heard the new recruiting theme they are using for BR is the crime being insanely high.

Lincoln Riley is a good offense coordinator not a good head coach. His teams never have a defense.Oklahoma hasn't had a good defense since Bob Stoops retired. Let the year play out and then go get your coach. Honestly, I'm not impressed with any of the college coaches. Lsu needs to go after a NFL coach.

Lsu beat Florida last year. Oklahoma had no defense vs Georgia in the semifinal of the playoff. They had Baker Mayfield. Poor example bud

Nah, if Woodward wants him then I am sure he’ll get him. Not my choice. Just a fan with an opinion. I don’t see the hype personally, but if the AD chooses him I’ll support him and hope I am wrong for the sake of LSU’s program.

if you are riley, do you want to compete in the SEC from the OU HC spot or the LSU HC spot? can you compete for titles in the SEC at OU?

Is grinch really that bad? OU made a pretty big jump since he got there in 2019.

I was asking about Grinch being a bad DC. I know Riley would crush it offensively but a lot of people keep suggesting to leave Grinch behind if we do get Riley.
From what I can tell Grinch is doing pretty goos with the talent OU has. Which leads me to believe if Grinch had access to the caliber players LSU brings in on Defense then he would do extremely well here.

I would rather Kiffin than Riley any day. Oklahoma has struggled with non ranked teams all year. Every time he plays quality teams they get beat. I don’t get the infatuation with him on this board.

I am not impressed in the slightest with Riley. He is constantly being pushed and/or defeated by vastly inferior teams…. In a terrible conference where they have supremacy. Then they just get waxed by other power 5 teams in the post season.
I for one would hate Riley as a hire, but for some reason people on the coaching board think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Frankly, it is baffling to me.

He’s like Kiffin to me. Good offensive mind who would need to bring in top notch defensive coordinator. You could get Kiffin for less money.
