To me, as well. For whatever reason, LSU fans seem to have a blind spot where Riley is concerned, somehow believing that he would be a better coach just because he would be coaching at LSU.

Folks apparently have erased the memory of Riley being completely shamed by LSU a couple of years ago. Derek Mason and Matt Luke were more competitive against LSU.

Riley is 53-8 (52-5 regular season) and on his way to his 4th playoff appearance in 5 seasons, and you have to ask why we want Riley? You have to MAKE the playoff regularly to "get dusted" everytime you go.

In 1995 LSU completely shamed Nick Saban and Michigan State in the Independence Bowl.

You can laugh all you want, but my concerns about Riley and underperforming are based in fact.

Simply not impressed…

It’s all about Big 12 competition.

He is top 3 all day, and likely WILL be the next head coach at LSU

I doubt it. Riley will likely give OU the chance to match our offer. I can't imagine that they won't.

I will predict that the Raiders may be competition for his services, if he is ready for his next stop

We really have no room to talk this year, considering the fact we got our asses whipped by a middle of the pack PAC12 team.

He's winning the BIG12 every year with BIG12 talent. OU is still a monster program with extremely high expectations. Almost no other coaching candidate named so far can show he's dealt with that successfully. Riley has passed with flying colors. I can't even think of another candidate that's won their conference!

Getting Riley would be like getting Brady when he was experience as a HC and is good at recruiting. This would definitely be a home run hire.

What? You do know that OU recruits nationally right?
