There is nothing to substantiate the claims that Frank Wilson is a poor coach.

he's like porter. a positional coach who "excels" coaching a position that doesn't require coaching (RBs)

Janzen Jackson.

I WOULD think you're confusing a "commit" and a "signee", but it's more likely you're just an idiot.

so the kid who was going around for months telling everyone in LC that he wasn't going to LSU was more of a commit than a kid who was going around telling everyone in WM that he was going to LSU?

do you really value pay site definitions THAT much in your life?

and i still haven't heard what's GOOD about wilson

if all he can get are the nola kids LSU doesn't want and OP kids, LSU doesn't need him. we already get the kids he can't recruit

By virtue of the word "commit" in the context of recruiting, yes.

They kindof have the monopoly on the definitions, so while I don't value them in my life, I value them in this discussion, as they are relevant.

Neither have I (read the first paragraph of the OP), but that's not the question.

Stop diverting.

not really

only because people like you take their word as gold

a commit is a person who is not considering any other school

a signee is a person who signs with a school on NSD

no other definitions reflect reality

what's bad about wilson: he's a gimmick recruiter who can only recruit guys who won't be coming to LSU, and OP kids

remember all the BS he pulled with deandre brown? he essentially told brown that we wouldn't give a shite about him if he couldn't immediately qualify, and then used every trick in the book to squeeze him in

So Brown went to OP Walker?

I don't take it as gold.

I take it as a word to categorize the current PUBLIC status of a player with regards to his college choice.

Commit =/= Signee

So JJ was a commit, and was never a signee.

Mingo was never a "commit", but on NSD became a "signee".

If someone's in 10th grade, but they test at a 12th grade level, are they a sophomore or a senior?

he only even went to the SEC to recruit new orleans, and he hasn't even done THAT well doing that

knowing you cant get guys LSU offers, id say he has done pretty well.

then he was hired by the 2nd worst program in the SEC

Ole Miss is the 2nd worst program in the SEC???? Tennessee???

porter is a guy who has grown into the role and wasn't hired as a gimmick guy

huh? he was at OK ST for 1 year after coming from ARK ST. Then he was at LSU.

He was Les Miles's "buddy". He turned out pretty good.

quote:

wilson = gimmick. he can recruit OP walker and has some cred in nola to get the guys LSU doesn't want

you really dont know shite about the guy. It's pretty obvious.

you spend too much time reading shite on the internet and forming opinions over it.

gimmicky? please.

They are in 10th grade.

Being intellectually at the level of an 18 year old means they're intellectually at the level of an 18 year old.

It doesn't mean they're in 12th grade.

I think my point flew miles over your head.

I was pondering starting a thread like this because there are polar opposite views on this guy. I will say it seems the good things about him are a lot more concrete and reality based than the bad.
