He seems like a Jeremy Pruitt clone. Same track record. What he did at UAB with the program being shut down is nothing short of amazing.

Clark shits on Jeremy Pruitt as a coach. That's a fact.

Juice..... Why so high on him? What more do you know about him?

Just in the little bit of research he sounds like a homerun to me. Probably better than anyone available including Shoop and Pendergast.

Crap being successful at UAB in the situation they were in is absolutely amazing.

Greg Schiano would be a slam dunk.

Shiiano is no chance. My question is about Bill Clark.

He built a podunk high school in Prattville High into a perennial powerhouse that won multiple state championships against bigger schools like Hoover, where Pruitt was an assistant. He helped start USAs program with Joey Jones, set records as head coach at Jacksonville St. in one season, and took over at UAB and had them playing in a bowl game until the program was shut down. He's a winner, plain and simple.

Thanks! That is what I gathered.

6-6 at UAB is strong. They were a good team this past season.

To answer your question outside of Alabama no one knows him. JT Curtis has a bigger name simply put.

JT Curtis has been a FBS head coach? He took a 2-10 team to being bowl eligible in one year? I don't believe you.

He's a superb defensive guy. That's obviously his specialty. I can't vouch for his recruiting skills, but I would bet he would be lights out. Honestly, that's all Pruitt really had going for him. Dude had never coordinated a defense at ANY level until he got to FSU.
