O hired nothing more than a yes man who he doesn't have to worry will run to scum Joe and tell how bad of a head coach he is and cause problems. Now we want to run RPO, spread No huddle with USC pro style Ed, and 20 years removed Steve... I hope we win in spite of the above

Fixed it for you. I've never understood someone hoping that we lose.

O is lazy. Period

I refuse to believe someone who's fallen miraculously upward in his career as much as O has is lazy. O must try really fricking hard - whether it be backstabbing, kissing arse, recruiting, whatever.

But that doesn't save O from being utterly incompetent. The funny thing is I thought the O/Alleva model would eventually fail because if you hire really good coordinators they eventually leave and you're depending on O to continiously make good hires, something he's never done. But I thought the first hire would be pretty easy - he had an open checkbook to go find a very highly reknowm coordinator. & of course O only fricking interviews one. Because O is enamored by each shiny fricking toy since he lays his eyes on. I didn't think O would completely flunk the easiest hire he'd ever have to make.

But O can't manage, being a career d line coach, and we have to run off our offensive coordinator. Somehow this has given O the autonomy to hire his buddy who is such a good playcaller no ones hired him to do it in two decades.

frick this fricking shite

This is actually true. I live in North MS, and all of the OM admin, staff, and boosters raves about O’s work ethic...right after they fired him for sinking their program in a fricking hole.

Orgeron won 9 games. Your examples are not in line. The coaches you named were very successful before going to their latter schools.

No way I was going to read all your crap. Nonetheless, both coach Aranda and coach O believe that coach Ensminger is a better play caller and better OC than Canada. They also both thought that Canada was a cancer on the football staff.

Link? I know it will be tough to find bc the last time he was an OC Al Gore hadn't invented the Internet yet, but by looking at stats, he was NOT. And please don't point to 2016, that means either you are as dumb as O, or you think we are.

Is he? Total offensive rankings:

2016 - 71. IF (big if) we're being generous and assume he could have mustered the same average YPG in the first 5 games of the season that the offense gained in the last 8, it would have been good enough to move all the way to 29.
2008 - 105
1998 - 93
1997 - 61
1996 - 34
1995 - 51
1994 - 61

shouldn't O be enough? Oh wait, nobody actually values our head coach's opinion, so you have to have Dave Aranda's opinion to even get it through the door.

And please show me where either of these men said this quoted information. I will wait.

Cliff notes? Man you like to read your own writing. Fact is, we will have to see our offense in September. Nobody knows how this turns out, yet.

It's customary to put a TLDR for the illiterates.

Which I did.

I'm really not certain that it's a "melt." For all the "Did-not-read" types, you really shouldn't comment. The Search actually seems to have gone out of his way to not write huge paragraphs, gave generous space between the ones he did, appears to have given us a nice, concise-ish, synopsis of the entire situation.

Well done, sir.

I just wish it didn't matter who our assistants were. Why does it not matter 1 iota who the assistants are at Alabama? Because Saban is a fricking leader, and it's his way or the highway, and his way happens to win championships on the most regular basis seen at any level of football in the history of the game.

I read the whole thing. Preach it brother. The excellence of the FB program post-2000 didn't "just happen" and it's a lot harder to rebuild it once it's lost than to fight to maintain it.
