Why don't we offer $2 Million to Sarkisian?

If you think about it, it would be an absolute power move to snag Bama's backup plan for OC and watch Kiffin take the UH job leaving Saban for his own OC search.
In addition, you get a phenomenal play caller that is refocused and motivated to get the job done.
I really don't see why anyone is worried this guy would turn back into a raging alcoholic if he stepped foot in BR. I don't think he makes that mistake again and the risk is equal in BR or Tuscaloosa

Because Alleva is at the wheel. He'll wait until Kiffin heads to Houston and then just beat off until Ogeron puts Ensminger at OC full time.

This is what ive been saying. People ask why the frick would sark or kiffin make a lateral move to LSU. Hell, maybe they're just good frickin friends and wanna coach together again. Maybe they wanna get the band back together. Who knows. But Its not that hard to imagine

What your getting is a recovering alcoholic in Cutty Shark. Dialing it up, was a good coach but for LSU, with other good choices available, too risky. If not Kiffin I like the OC from Oklahoma.

O was an alcoholic too guys. He's been sober for awhile now, so it's not like he wouldn't have a support system here and a guy to help him stay on the wagon.

Lincoln Riley would be my 1st choice. He is supposedly only making $800k. Offer him 1.5 a year. Kiffin wouldn't be a bad choice.

Unless I missed something why does Ensminger need to be hired. He never got fired. I can certainly ask next time I speak my people. And why does it matter when? Just curious

Because I don't believe you. If the decision has already been made to hire Ensminger, then surely "your people" know when the announcement will be made?
