Why does LSU want to be USC

Why does Oeaux want an offense like USC from the 2000's when LSU doesn't play in the PAC 12 and Saban didn't attempt to retain Sark?
Sark wasn't at USC then. And Sark arguably why the Falcons' offense has regressed.

USC was really good in the 2000s

It’s the only thing he’s familiar with

Who said he wanted Sark anyway?

There haven't even really been hints that we're actually going after Sark. He's been on of the least mentioned candidates in the media and on here.

Because usc was actually his dream job

You should check Wikipedia, Gilbert is officially our new OC.

O wants to repeat a successful model.

Sometimes coaches get too caught up in nostalgia for their glory days. Miles was always trying to recreate the Bo era (strangely enough, he seemed to do this more after he won a NC, something Bo never did).
I think O was under Jimmy Johnson and other coaches, but I guess the Pete days are what he remembers most fondly as his high water mark?

I’d have absolutely ZERO issue with our offense looking like early 2000s usc.

So do I, but Cindy Crawford never returned my calls the first time.

That success was Pete and talent
USC has yet to recover
Why can’t USC repeat their own success

Wikipedia also said Amoeba was a cuckold, but it only lasted about 90 seconds.

Yep, it's a system he is comfortable with.

O said this is what he wants, so why does it matter who the OC is if O is going to force his vision on them?

Living in his glory days.
Typical Louisianian. Always living in the past.
