Why does everyone overlook the fact that...

Michigan is gonna need one he'll of a rebuilding period before they contend again, and LSU will be in the hunt for the remainder of Les' contract?

Im talking about the media, you basically have people on talk radio and the internet columns saying that les is gone.

if the schools roles were reversed, and I was coaching at UM, I would leave in a heartbeat if LSU offered me the head coaching position.

so..lets say you played at LSU..you then become a head coach..you have had a good 6 year run at a big time school and then LSU, who has fallen on hard times, comes calling you home...do you tell them no?

Most of the last several MNC's have been won by teams that had some rebuilding to do. Meyer did it in just a few years. The game tonight has 2 coaches that took over programs that were competing but not for the MNC. One recruiting class can change all of this.

you are making the decision with thinking.
if you make the decision with feeling emotion, and you are an alum, and they REALLY need you, and you got your first grad assistant job there, MAYBE you do it ANYWAY even though all the cards are stacked against it as a bright idea.
I am hoping that his comments about his family rule his emotional response. He has a 16 yr old who has been in school locally now for 6 years. That kid does not want to change high schools. THat kid is LSU's best chance that Miles stays and coaches up another damn strong team to another BCS championship in 2011 and/or 2012.

She is not going to be going to school in Louisiana, she is going to some school in Florida for her swimming. I heard that on the radio today
