You know he was buying those escorts for recruits, right? It was in everyone's best interest for Hugh to fall on that sword as quickly as possible.

It would be a lot worse if you didn’t fire him and he was caught cheating again. You had to fire him , just like Arkansas had to fire Petrino.

Because they were in no way “personal matters” and you know it.
Had Freeze not been fired, Rosebowl and company would have kept right on digging and likely would have uncovered the truth about the hookers.
