Know from somebody close with him that he preferred Okie State.

If Arkansas didn't offer him then they were foolish. I thought once he took the Ok St job that he had to have preferred that job.

Does this sound like a guy ready for a SEC job:

Morris Intro

Okie state is in the Big 12. Arkansas being in a power 2 conference alone makes them a better school to me.

Rutgers is in the "Power 2" but isn't a better job.

Yeah, in 2011.

1. Because they're Arky. Look at their hires over the years. Pittman, Nutt, etc.

2. Morris may have said no. (Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.) As others have said here, I think OK lite is a better job. Bigger fish in a smaller pond. Easier road to the playoffs and still a ton of talent close by.

Because Silverdong is better.

Memphis never played for an American conference championship under him at a much better resourced school.

Your link is broken and if you are using a press conference as judgment over hiring a coach I don't know what to tell you.

Like I said in another post on here Memphis never competed for the American Conference Championship under his watch and Memphis is top 3 in Coaching/NIL spending.

Ok. That’s not a requirement for another job. Norvell won a conference championship at Memphis and sucks arse at FSU.

Hiring is a crap shoot and most fans are completely wrong on hires anyway.

LSU fans all but guaranteed Brian Kelly would win a National Championship.

Yes because of the limitations BK had at ND compared to ND. You hired a guy that couldn't win nor play for a conference championship when he had more resources than most every other team in the conference. I mean ARMY won a AAC championship..........

.

I guess Alex Golesh was a terrible hire by Aubie then as well.

Out of the three (4) if you count Sumrall I would rank Golesh and Silverfield below Sumrall and Morris.

Is your school going to have more resources than Texas, LSU, A&M?

I would go Silverdong 1, and then the other 3 in any order they all suck.

Would you consider Ole Miss a top 3 resourced school in the SEC?
