Why did the Dabo talk die?

Could this be the hire all along? Seems like a Woodward play to come out of the blue with a big name like Dabo.

Oh I don’t know maybe when he hired Petersen to Washington or Jimbo to A&M, definitely wasn’t any smoke around Johnson to LSU for baseball.

I would think Dabo is the front runner to take over Alabama after Saban retires. He would be kind of a weird target. Maybe not though.

I don’t really see him leaving either. Just remember he was the name of the day a few weeks back but it died off real quick.

I think most on here assume he’s a Midwest guy only. I’d love to see what he could do at LSU

Johnson wasn't a huge hire. He was probably 3rd or 4th choice. How's jimbo working out at A&M?

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make. My point was that the Jimbo hire was a huge pull at the time for A&M and was not expected.
