you could tell that he knew what the internet fan rumblings were exactly

as soon as he took over it was like a "tigerdroppings checklist" to get them on his side

the fact that simple-minded people can't see this obvious manipulation and salesmanship isn't shocking given how stupid the general population is in Louisiana, but it still makes me sad

I thought I was the only one who remembered this and was going insane.

I didn't want him anywhere near LSU, and I still want him far, far away.

He got an offer to coach at LSU as an assistant only a few days after he took the Tennessee job. He admitted it was difficult to turn down LSU, but he had already made a commitment to Tennessee and it was unprofessional not to keep it. As far as McKnight is concerned, the kid had a terrible household with a nutcase for a mother he had to get away from. McKnight was never going to LSU because of his family situation. Don't judge a man unless you know the facts.

naw bruh

Orgeron has a long history of hating the living shite out of LSU before he got a job here

in fact, before Miles hired him, tons of people were convinced he'd never come here b/c of the beef

now he's LSU super fan #1

I think he realized it after he whiffed on getting a job in two consecutive coaching cycles.

He was out of work for a full season just two years ago and now some want him to run our program

He knew that his only chance to get the job was to differentiate himself from Miles as much as possible in as short a time as possible.

-Open practices
-Shorter practices
-Personnel
-Weekly radio interviews outside of contractual obligations
-Tweaking the offense

That and his "ability to motivate" were supposed to get him over the hump. It would show that he learned since his time at Ole Miss.

Well, sleepwalking through the Florida game with a shite offensive gameplan and playcalling that even I could see coming sure looked a lot like Les Miles tenure.

Orgeron's dream job is whatever job is considering him.

I don't fault him. We're all like that in interviews for a job we want.

But USC was his dream job before

Exactly. I've been saying the same thing. Iwa no part of O and his political approach to the position. And I can't believe so many are fooled.

coach O is a living embodiment of the Dunning-Kruger effect

he is not smart enough to realize that he's not nearly as good of a FB coach as he thinks he is

scariest part of O is that he's definitely spent his time improving his politicking and PR (instead of coaching) and if we did hire him, we'd have a really hard time getting rid of him b/c of this

I still cant get over my girl calling the fb dive by the goal line last night. I felt like the Seinfeld gif where he raises the flag.

Would we want him to stay on Herman's staff?

I would imagine he is like the rest of you and loves who ever pays him the most money. If it's the flagship school from his home state that's even better, but the if he doesn't get the gig and someone offers up the cash you can bet he would love them too.

Well, it is. What assistant bcoach wouldn't consider USC a dream job?

I don't think he will unless he thinks he and Ensminger can sink Herman from within. He'll be just as mad as he was at USC.

He loves LSU now because he sees the dollar signs. When he was at Ole Miss he crapped all over LSU. Remember he left LSU as a player under less than pleasant circumstances.
