Who were they forcing him to hire?
Derek Mason (DC), Mike Bobo (OC), Cadillac Williams?
Seems like Bryan Harsin brought at least 5-6 guys with him from Boise.

I purposefully watched 2 games he has coached in this season and like others have posted he struggled against weak arse competition where there was a clear advantage in recruiting.

People on this site crucified Les Miles for winning JUST LIKE THIS GUY HAS THIS YEAR.
Against 3 teams with a combined 5-15 record his mighty offense has beaten them by a total of 12 points. He was flat out out-coached my that SEC reject at Arky St.

Risk/reward analysis. You have to recruit against two schools that are the absolute best in college right now (share a state with saban and a few hours away from Kirby). That’s a built in disadvantage whereas here in Louisiana you have no competition and can even recruit Houston
