So the first post you made didn't have enough troll in it that you had to post a second, even worse troll?
Some news for you. Your trolls need to be concise and to the point in the original post. If you have to explain it, it loses its sting.
Be better.
Not trolling, dumbass.
I like the CBK hire.
Just trying to figure out if the Denbrock hire rumors are smoke or fire and what the history is. Kelly and Denbrock's 2014-2016 years seem a bit murky.

Denbrock might have left to have full control of an offence since CBK called the plays then. CBK could be offering more control at LSU, like he has at Cincy.

Denbrock was the play caller for ND's offense for 3 seasons. Was only listed as the OC the first of those seasons, Sanford was listed as the OC the other two seasons. Midway through the last season at ND, Kelly took over play calling duties from Denbrock.
It's said that Denbrock went to Cincinnati because he was disappointed in the diminished playcalling responsibilities.

So he was demoted for something out of his control? Seems like bad management.
What a pussy.

[quote]Denbrock was co OC Mike Stafford and Stanford won the job and they went 4-8 the next year And was fired” This is a great answer I’m glad somebody finally pointed this out. Maybe Kelly is smart enough and realized he made a mistake, and was man enough to go back to him and tell him Sorry and how wrong he was. Sorry let me make it up to you, first I’ll pay you a whole bunch of money and second you’ll have the best facilities and best athletes in college football. People give Kelly a lot of crap for not hiring this young flashy OC, oCs are turning him down . People don’t realize Kelly is playing more of the long game bringing stability. He is going to bring in his OC and DC not one who has done good for one or two years maybe three and jumps to be a head coach. it’s going to be the great OC the DC‘s who are content and being just that and keeps evolving through position coaches and Analyst . build a system to where you just pump athletes through year after year. He wants stability not changing OCs Dcs every year like Alabama does.

quote:Yepper. We must run the ball successfully. If we don't you're looking back at Les with a run a run then just 2 guys go out and QB throws a bomb incomplete.
Brennan is a beautiful deep ball thrower and that's how his scheme is setup it puts defenses to sleep and they melt them with the deep ball.

You are a worry wart. Do you have anything else to do with your time?

"Assistant head coach Mike Denbrock, who’d been the primary play caller, left for Cincinnati after being informed he’d have a lesser role in the offense."

Dembrook is in the playoffs and Jimbo is sitting at home.
That's all that matters.

It seems like the first change in title was made to bring in Sanford to freshen up the offense. Denbrock sacrificed the title for the good of the team, but maintained play calling duties.
The second time Kelly realized he needed to make changes all around to turn the program around. Denbrock wasn’t the only casualty of that change. In the end, it worked out for Kelly and for Denbrock. Some might see it as cold-blooded, but Kelly showed he could do what Miles was unwilling to do. He adjusted his philosophy AND put the needs of the program above friendship. If Kelly does bring in Denbrock that should give us confidence that he isn’t just picking his buddy, but is bringing in who he genuinely feels is the best candidate for the job.

Because they watched Georgia play once this year and decided that told them all they need to know about Monken. They are completely unwilling to dig deeper into his background to understand he’s anything but the three yards and a cloud of dust practitioner they have made him out to be.

Sometimes good management is bringing in someone new even if the guy in the position did nothing wrong.

Cuz Denbrock wasn’t getting the job done, and cuz nobody else is left.

I'm skeptical if Denbrock is the real hire he'll pull his full scheme at LSU. I still think they'd run more WR heavy sets since that's a bigger strength on LSU's team right now than TE. You can't run Denbrock's scheme with LSU's current personnel and I haven't seen them pushing hard for TEs in the portal. BK will adjust it based on our strengths and he'll let Denbrock run it. Denbrock's scheme can work here if it wasn't for the heavy involvement of TEs. Currently I'm not sure LSU has a true TE on the roster? Bech is going to be a stud receiving but will he be able to block? We definitely can't run 3 TE sets.
Will be interesting to see what they do with the scheme here. I think everything else about it fits our current strengths. We have some potential stud RBs, Brennan is very accurate with deep balls, Boutte is the perfect deep threat, Bech is an excellent tweener TE that can burn defenses, etc. I would think Denbrock is capable with BK at adjusting scheme anyway. He has been coaching quite awhile.
