Lol okay. I'd deal with Sabans shite any day of the week if it meant I would get a better chance at getting a dream job as a head coach at a top school. And you're more likely to get that job under saban than with orgeron based on history

Then he still would not have proven he can run a top 5 football program. It doesn't matter who he beats, he still has to be the best candidate to maintain and expand the program. If LSU can't attract a coach who can do that better than Coach O, then we are in a sad state of affairs.

No one is against Coach O. We are literally a head coach and offensive coordinator away from having a championship team, year in and year out. The program is not in a position to take a gamble on someone who has a failing record as a permanent head coach. Sure he has had success as an interim coach but who wouldnt have short term success with the rosters he had in place? Ed is a damn fine D-Line coach, recruiter and motivator. If Ed were to go to a mid major school and prove he is successful as the head man, i would love nothing more than to have Ed O leading the tigers out of the tunnel on Saturdays. Right now, the success of our program and the direction it's headed lies upon the next coach we hire. Thats why people are hesitant on hiring bebe right now.

I actually think it's the opposite. The thing about the anti Miles people is it was always about having LSU reach its potential. Anti Miles folks seem to be the ones who see the inherent potential of the program, while those propping him up would be more likely to mention the 90s and being "spoiled". The same applies here. The anti O people want LSU to be as good as they possibly can be. That's not with Orgeron as HC.

This is Tigerdroppings. We eat our own and have for a long time and we can't savor the moment or let things play out. We see the negatives and narratives, we spot the canker sores and warts before they have even developed. And then we make them come to a head. Almost like a self fulfilling prophesy.

Well we got good Ole boy Johnny Jones with our last coaching search. I'm sure they will learn from that. I have faith they will do the right thing.

I didn't address those people. frick no you don't make him a permanent coach now. I am not really sure what the correct answer should or will be with all of the variables involved. I am sure, though, that we will find a way to frick it up.

Not looking into purple and gold glasses... Even if he beats Bama that would make him 4-0 with all games being played in Tiger Stadium.
This isn't enough of a sample size. Had we played the UF game when it was originally scheduled I think that would've shown us more in that 1 week of preparation.
His real test starts now and ends at A&M. Let's see how he adjust vs one of the greatest football minds ever and on the road before we hand him over the keys.
