He’s one of the top rated DC’s out there. Look what happened to Herman? They announced that it was a done deal and bam! A lot on here said No way ND steals Freeman from LSU; he played with one of their coaches so he has ties to their staff. Hope O is able to rebound!

I agree. But like Sulphur said in another thread, the talk of LSU being able to get who they want needs to die. That is just not the case.

Completely different situations. Herman was always a major Texas lean. Anyone who denies that is too biased to comment.

Freeman made a lifestyle choice. He wasn't interested in the shite hole of Baton Rouge. He is looking for a HC job anyways.

It sure seems O and the LSU negotiators were shocked.

For goodness sake, conduct a real search and interview process. Identify at least 4 external, elite coaches, 2 from the NCAA, 2 from the NFL and don't settle.

If O does the same thing he typically does it will be the last hire he makes.

It always seems like the longer these things drag on, the less likely LSU will have a favorable outcome.

Eta: this parallels recruiting too

Stole?

It had been said that in a vacuum, freeman would take ND. Brody Miller said that on Wed.

Then another report came out today that said it wasn’t about the money. This is not surprising. The only reason this sucks is because people were “reporting” that it was done.

LSU is a high risk, high reward job! You better do go.... if you do, big jobs come calling because success in SEC. if you don’t do god, you’re fired in 1-3 yrs and your stock tanks

Have you ever been to South Bend? I was driving to Michigan and passed through South Bend. It was night, but I remember there wasn’t much there and then all of a sudden I look to my left and I’m staring at TD Jesus and their field. From the highway. You can see the field while driving past on the highway. I was dissapointed to learn that ND plays in a stadium fit for a G5 team.
