This I agree with. However, Patterson and Peterson have it really good where they are at and they would have to feel like it's a perfect fit for them to make the move, IMO. Of these two, Patterson would seem to be the easiest to convince. Peterson might feel like he would be out of his element in South LA.

their egos are huge, them taking the "safe route" (Patterson) to win a NC is irrelevant.

Pelini, nobody would think hes a scumbag for coming back to LSU. The move wouldnt look badly upon him at all.

I don't think we are fricked if Miles leaves. Hell, Miles does some really really really stupid shite. He's also a pretty good coach.

I think there just needs to be some meeting in the middle. If Miles leaves, we aren't getting Gruden or Patterson. We have a shot at Mullen, Fitzgerald, Hoke, Sumlin and Malzhan and hopefully we hire someone in that range. But people have to realize that there is also the posibility that we get Tubberville or Ralph Friedgen.
