Who’s your top candidate and your compromise candidate?

Riley is top candidate given Aranda is off the table. Huge in terms of recruiting, getting proven coordinators and general exposure for LSU.
Mark Stoops is compromise candidate. At the very least he’ll build back the trenches and get us to playing decent football again. Unclear what his ceiling looks like though.

I’ve seen Les and Ed win natties. So I can talk myself into just about anyone. Stoops is an upgrade from both of them.
But Lincoln and Aranda is 1a and 1B respectively for me. Then it’s Campbell, Napier, and Stoops.

I know it's Kentucky but he's about a 500 HC. I'd be really surprised if Woody had 12 mil/yr available to spend and we ended up with Stoops.

Would be perfectly fine with Mark Stoops if he’s the floor. Dude can coach, no reason he couldn’t succeed at LSU if given the chance.

I’m a little nervous if Billy goes to Florida though he’s going take it out on us letting him leave the state of Louisiana and turn out to be a good coach there. He may turn the LSU/UF series around for them and they’ll start beating LSU again. Hope I’m wrong
