Intriguing choices abound. Trying to poach Derek Mason would be fruitless, as he's likely headed back to a HC job soon.
Is Manny Diaz going to get fired from Da U? That would be a candidate.
I like Phil Parker (I like all the coordinators at both Iowa schools, but Parker the best) and Jim Leonhard (Wisconsin).

My vote for "give the guy a promotion" hire would be Charlie Partridge.
Better than a re-tread a la Kevin Steele in my opinion.
I'd rather that than a G5 DC moving over. No matter how good the HC is, or isn't, bringing in a staff with him from the lower tier schools never works. See Chad Morris.
