I like Les, but this would make me forget about him fairly quickly...

1. Mauck
2. Hester
3. Flynn

I think they are all ready for this.

with the Pelini's and Leach we would have all kind of law suits for kids being mishandled LOL! They would execute a kid on field if there was a penalty.. It would make for exciting television. Heck we might as well give the Wardon from Angola a job too! I'm just makin fun and I would not be against this coaching staff besideds the Wardon.

I wouldnt mind Les sticking around with a new offensive Co.

But if he has to go... Pelini.

I think the warden will be the strength coach. They'll probably do some summer training up in Angola. 7 on 7 against the repeat violent offenders.

Intersting thing about hiring Mullins: State just lost their DC, so a Mullins hire would allow Chevis to remain on the staff.

That being said, he should not be at the top of the list, but I'm not sure LSU could do better with the options available this year.

Chris Peterson who would bring Bryan Harsin with him. LSU would be unbeatable. They both like it in Boise but throw the money at em and see.

I was going to say the same thing. I've had enough excitement over the last 3 years to last a lifetime as an LSU fan. We certainly don't need to ramp it up any more.

but our "made for tv" quality comes from our amazing ability to overcome our own incompetence in games.

I'd rather have a made for tv team for other reasons.

Here is a darkhorse coaching hire to think about: Gary Pinkel, Missouri Head Coach. He has been at Mizzou for 10 years and is a proven winner. And the guy can coach quarterbacks!: Chase Daniel was amazing and Blaine Gabbert is going to be a high first round draft pick.

Combine that with LSU's talent and I believe he could win immediately. Mizzou went 10-3 this year and beat Oklahoma and aTm.
