Freeze is a better coach than Lane imo. Freeze won’t come back to ole miss though.

I know many of your fans disagree but acquiring Freeze again would definitely bring a top notch coach that would not leave anytime soon to Ole Miss.

FWIW, the On3 Ole Miss site is reporting that Auburn is "expanding it's search". Posted / stated that an hour ago.
Still think everyone's just guessing and hedging a bit so they can say they were right to their followers regardless of what Lane does.

We have had several candidates from the start. By this point if it's not Lane then it's likely Freeze

I think he would. It might even make him feel fully redeemed. Now, I am not sure Ole Miss would go for it, but he would do well there again.

I have stated before I am not confident of who will be hired until it's official. Lane is not a sure lock for Auburn imo. He is the absolute top target and it's up to him though.
I think a school has to have an ongoing search until the contract is accepted.
