Who are the 3rd and 4th options after Herman and Fisher?

I can't help but think that the search is a failure of we can't get either Herman or Fisher.
Having said that, who should be third and fourth targets on Alleva's list?

They just need to make it happen with Jimbo, so we can all move on. I'd like Herman, but I don't think they're even bothering with him anymore. I'm really afraid to know what the actual list looks like if it isn't Jimbo.

You are emotional that is why the truth hurts. Having your head in the sands won't do you any good. At least pay attention, Alleva says he is looking for a HC who develops the culture of excellence, on and off the field. Do you think that includes someone who was protecting a QB accused of sexual assault? Or maybe Alleva ia looking to eat some lobster.

If LSU is smart, they will pursue Chip Kelly relentlessly. People forget that Saban turned down the Bama job numerous times before he finally said yes. That's the problem with a lot of these top-tier programs who can't get over the hump. They're afraid to take risks. They're content to have a good program instead of daring to be great. Chip Kelly seems unattainable now but so did Saban ten years ago. Nobody thought he would leave the Dolphins. Everybody laughed at Bama for thinking they had a chance of getting him. Who's laughing now? Make several pitches to him and make him say no numerous times. You never know what can happen.

People with hate this idea but Coach with a great OC is the best 3rd option IMO. That combination with Aranda for 3 or 4 years.

That would be a good option too. It is important for continuity and You can not mess up current the current recruiting class. He can even enhance it.

Gundy is actually my #2 so Fisher would be my #3 with Fedora or Mullen #4. I would like Mullen over Fedora, but I'd take either if we don't get the top 3.

Why no love for Chad Morris? Guy had a very good game against Saban in the NCG just came up short but scored more than Herman's O.
