Which coaches would tRant be happy with?? Regardless I see a melt coming.

Yes there are pros and cons for everyone one of them. Folks around here need to start making a mental list of who all they would be ok with so that 911 doesn’t get overwhelmed with calls about mental breakdowns the day the new coach get announced. 3 I would be ok/happy with are:
Aranda (sauces telling me this is done, but if not..)
Napier
Fickell
Melt inducers for me:
Jimbo, Campbell…really anyone else

I would honestly be ok with most of the names mentioned. LSU isn't perfect (Baton Rouge), but with our recruiting grounds, our commitment to athletics, and the lack of competition within the state, it really is the type of job where 9 wins should be the floor. Other coaches in the SEC have alluded to this in the past.
We have been to 3 national championships in the last 14 years and won 2 of them with coaches that don't even belong in the SEC. Name a guy who has been mentioned that wouldn't be a huge improvement over Miles and Orgeron. That doesn't mean I don't want the best, but even the guys on the "second tier" list should win at LSU.

Riley and Aranda are the only surefire non-melt candidates for the vast majority of fans, although the Napier pumpers will melt if LSU hires anyone other than him.

Still have zero idea why people have such a hard on for Riley. His team could've even beat our 3rd or 4th choice for a HC. FWIW, I hope Aranda comes to LSU.
