I'm with you IRT Fedora. He is young, in shape (presents himself well/relates to today's young ATH's) and is an OFF minded HC. Guy for the next 10 yrs. He rolls in, keeps Aranda, and finalizes the staff. Then he and staff hits the recruiting trail hard to finish 2017 with a top 5 class.

PS I think UNC would hire Chizik, easy fix for them.

i've heard polarizing commentary on fedora's recruiting abilities

i thought he was a good recruiter but now people are saying he's bad at it. WHAT IS IT?

I like McIntyre's SEC experience. He's starting to grow on me. Winning there is harder than winning at Western Michigan. Fleck scares me a little. He has a good QB and NFL WR in the Mack. Kind of Like Turner Gill had at Buffalo or Hallman has with Favre.

2012: 45th ranked class
2013: 39th ranked class
2014: 24th ranked class
2015: 29th ranked class
2016: 24th ranked class
2017: 31st ranked class

Its not out of the Realm.. Like I said, i wouldnt mind the hire at all.. I still think Gundy is the best of them all.. His offenses are just on fire.. they consistently throw for 3500-3800 yds and have 1000 yd rushers scoring 35-40 pts a game... Yes I know its the Big 12, but his offenses are multi dimensional and very creative, his adjustments in game are phenomenal. Many times they stalled in the first half to light it up in the second half.. I think he could recruit very well to our athletes because they spread the ball around so much.. 12 WR's with 200 yds and a touchdown this year.. plain and simple he is not afraid to take risk, thats what you need to beat bama.. you have to take risk, they are more talented than us.. Its about the only thing that I do like about herman.. he takes risk as well.. just not sure if he will or not here.. Gundy has proven he will..

Not to mention that fact that he and Boone are at odds, and he is itching for change.. He was a finalist for the Tennessee job a few years ago... i think he is looking for the right job though.. he can be picky..

McIntyre was on the hot seat last year.. he is this years Brady Hoke..

I have to say the same about Fleck.. He has the top QB and great WR's in a lower conference.. those are things you have to look at when you're dissecting information

He thought Gilmore took plays off in HS...wasn't high on him.

I would prefer to give Aranda a chance, too, before any of the so-called 2nd tier group. He seems to have a special gift for defensive football, a kind of rare gem, and I want him here until he retires, and this would be the chance to lock him in for LSU for many possibly many years. Otherwise, he will probably be gone soon and make his name as a head coach at some school where we can never get him back (imagine Alabama getting him 5-6 years from now, God forbid).

I'd probably take my chances with Aranda before this list.
