The clash was something cooked up by Ponamsky to make dumbass rantards side with O vs Canada. They knew O was terrible so they had to make it seem Canada was bothering Aranda.

I can’t imagine a scenario where a DC and OC get into it over football

of course O wasn't terrible so your narrative sure looks like a bias instead of a factual statement. sorry.

keeps being encouraged to "seek other opportunities" after successful seasons (Wisconsin, NC State, etc.)

Again, he's only been forced out at two places: NC State and LSU. Every other job he left due to a promotion or HC change. His resume isn't unusual among assistant coaches.

Now that Carey took the Temple job, I think NIU would be a good landing spot for Canada. He's familiar with the program, had success there in the past, and he can finally be HC of his own program like he wanted.

The Baltimore Ravens had a resurgent 2018 season that saw them get to the postseason for the first time since 2014. Baltimore saw the biggest improvement in their run game, which is why running back coach Thomas Hammock could be poached away.

Hammock is the frontrunner for the Northern Illinois University head-coaching position as John David Gallione first reported and Jeff Zrebiec confirmed.

He worked for one of his best friends in the game, Dave Doeren at N.C. State. DD fired him. Isn’t it telling when one of your buds fires you? And the firing wasn’t for performance reasons; the relationship soured.

Bielema didn’t ask him to come with him to Arkansas. Another sour relationship

the clash between Canada and Aranda

This is made up. The tension was always between O and Canada, because O promised full control of the offense, then started meddling before camp was over.

Canada has lobbied for the NIU job and isn’t in their top 3.

Adam Rittenberg of ESPN reported on Monday that Rudolph was among the names that have mentioned as the most likely to lead the Huskies for the 2019 season. The other two likely candidates are SMU defensive coordinator Kevin Kane and Baltimore Ravens running backs coach Thomas Hammock.

So they’re going after a guy who has the 62nd scoring offense

Or the guy with the 110th scoring defense or the RB coach from a team who’s besy rusher was a QB.

NIU is going places.

This isn’t what happened.

The Clash was between O and Canada. O promised him the offense completely. Then O meddled, and Canada reacted. He reacted stronger than he should have a number of times from what I hear, but the point is it starts with O.

That is why we have Ensminger now.

Maybe NIU’s AD saw Canada’s barnburning 100 yards of total offense against Michigan State this year. Oh, wait Orgeron meddled in that game, too.

He was promoted as interim head coach

The only reason he was promoted was he had the least amount of time on the staff that killed a player. The guy is a grade A a-hole. He will be coaching a High School team in 3 years.

Because Canada has a reputation of getting along so well with every other staff he worked with prior to joining LSU's?

Minibus you get even more silly with age.

Still doesn't make it okay that O meddled with Canadas ability to call his offense during the Troy game. O deserved that loss for doing that. He might be difficult to work with but his offense works.

Thomas Hammock lands the NIU job Canada wanted so badly. I guess O meddled with NIU’s coaching search, too.

I wont knock them for that hire. I remember that dude when he was playing at NIU, and he was a really good position coach in the nfl for a bit. That's a good hire for them

Just goes to show you when you act like a first class JA, it eventually catches up to you. Sad thing is he's a pretty good coach, but he needs to get his head out of his rear end first!
