Are they waiting for all the shite to settle and then go find a coach? Or they waiting until after next weekend??

Doubt it. Interim AD has already said they have told the coaches they have spoken to that they will make the hire within the next 10 days.
They are just keeping it quiet.

Allegedly they have a top 2 and they’re both coaching this weekend. Depending on who they’ve contacted and who you believe, that top two comes from Norvell, Kiffin, Venables and Malzahn. Assuming all goes well, they’re supposed to announce our new coach on Sunday or Monday. Who knows if all that’s true or not. Just what’s been put out there so far from alleged insiders.
My guess is that Norvell gets the job at the end of the day. It just makes too much sense with his connections to the state, his ties to Texas recruting and being an offensive focused coach.

Honestly, I think they’re being smart about it.
I won’t be surprised at all if a damn solid hire is made and hits the news unannounced.

considering the candidates i've seen connected to the job they'd have to really screw up to make a bad hire. the total meltdown at tennessee right now only helps arkansas.

2 different search firms have been hired. One for AD search and the other for the Head Coach search.
Also, supposedly two different search for the Head Coach going on at same time. One by the GOBN and the other by the interim AD and Chancellor.
At least, we've managed to keep our clusterfrick on the down low.
