The talk(actually a lot of talk) on a few UT boards I've read and listening to Tennessee radio yesterday is that Fulmer might make Trooper Taylor and Greg Adkins co-coordinators.

I wonder if he'd consider Borges...

If he's not stupid, he's already offered the job to Borges.

So, who knows.

Among "little orange" boosters I know, given how he got the job [politic'd while Johnny Majors was sick to take over], he won't hire anyone with a "name".

They keep it in the family up here in Knoxville. That is why the program has become so stale and boring. This program badly needs some fresh blood to shake things up a little.

I wonder if Hamilton will instruct him to consider going outside for this one

They were talking about Trooper Taylor taking over as OC on Sports Animal up here yesterday. The hosts said it was a possibility, but that Fulmer would reign him in with the play calling. Cutcliffe pretty much had free reign in his play calling the last two years with very little input from Fulmer. They all agreed that it was very unlikely that Trooper is being groomed for the head coaching position when Fulmer stepped down.

ANOTHER queen who knows more than the coach being paid millions to do his job. :rotflmao:

I keep saying that I'll do it for half of what Miles will, but as of yet nobody's called me.

I'd talk to Joker Phillips if I was him, but he probably goes in house. Which is a mistake.

Gus Malzahn would take the job in a heartbeat.

Phil will hire from within, however, as is his MO. If Taylor doesn't get it all to himself, word is he's a gone pecan (likely to Baylor).

Trooper may turn the job down because he won't be able to chest bump in the box.

If they co-coordinate the offense you mine as well pack Phil up and move Jon Gruden in.
